Most weddings only require 2 to 3 meetings and a rehearsal where appropriate, but that doesn't mean that's all you can have. We're always available - face to face, telephone, Skype or email - we're only as far away as a phone call when you need us.

The legals are generally quite easy to complete, but you need to make sure you have the right pieces of paper for your situation. Some of them can take time to get if you've been married before so its best to sort this out early.

Our checklist approach to everything means that you'll always know what needed well in advance. If you don't know what you need - we will!
Planning the ceremony, writing the script and choosing special observances such as hand fasting and sand ceremonies is something that we take the hassle out of. We can help you with cultural customs, writing your own vows and adding unique touches to your special day.

Our one ceremony a day policy means that even if you do run over time, we'll still be there until you've walked back down the aisle as a married couple. Once the music starts - your only job is to enjoy your ceremony.

Scott Broadbridge-Brown, J.P. CMC

Scott comes to celebrancy with a fresh approach and a driving passion that comes only from truly believing in and loving what you do. After a very successful career in information technology, Scott came to the realisation that being part of the community was far more rewarding than sitting behind a screen. Scott has celebrated marriages, commitment ceremonies, baby namings and renewal of vows enhancing the ceremonies for the couples and families involved while feeling grealtly honoured to share in these extraordinary moments along side them. To further cement the Beyond Celebrancy community spirit, Scott architected and launched the Giving It Back program in 2015. Scott is an ordained minister with the Universal Life Church Monastery and a firm supporter of marriage equality.

Scott lives on Gadagal/Wangal land, and uses the pronouns he and him.

We don't limit your access to our celebrant. Most weddings will only require one or two meetings plus a rehearsal if appropriate, but our celebrant is always available to consult at any time either face to face, on the phone, via Skype or email.
LEGALS SORTED... DONE!
We guide you through the legal paperwork taking all the stress out. We tell you what you need, where you can get it from and if necessary what to do if you can't get what you need.
BE HEARD!
There is nothing worse for your guests than having to strain to hear what’s going on or miss out on the "I dos". Our battery powered PA is perfect for both indoor and outdoor weddings. It features wireless mics, CD player, USB input, AUX OUT (for the videographer), AUX IN (for musicians) and an input for smart phones and media players. We even have a modern iPhone adapter!

EXTENDED TRAVEL ZONE
Having a ceremony outside of Sydney? Our conditional extended travel zone applies to our standard and premium packages. As long as we can get there and back in a day by car - we'll go! Some conditions apply, but talk to us about your favourite location and we'll come up with a plan!

The ceremony was just what we wanted. It wasn't too long and boring like some other wedding ceremonies can be. The uncertain weather situation on the day was well handled and didn't cause us any stress. Scott personalised the ceremony to suit us and managed to get a few laughs from the crowd which was great. We also appreciated the rehearsal a week beforehand which put everyone at ease as to what they were supposed to do and when - everything went as planned on the day. For our wedding just last Saturday we got married at Lithgow, which was no issues for Scott which was really surprising as it was freezing in the mountains, in the middle of winter. Scott was a brilliant Celebrant for us, he had a perfect blend of humour and gravitas for the ceremony, and ensured our day went perfect for everyone. He coached us throughout the registry process, made sure all our i's and t's were dotted, and made sure we weren't nervous wrecks on the day with clear cut instructions. I loved that our sense of humour and his aligned, we're both kind of nerdy people, so it was lovely that Scott "got" that, and tailored a ceremony that could reflect just enough irreverence but still have enough emotion and weight to make our family and friends cry.
